As the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC), we've made thousands of economic development loans. It takes specialized software to track the process, and accommodate each deal. So we developed Portfol in 1986, using and refining it to successfully manage over $7 billion of our own loan activity.
In 1996, when other economic development lenders showed interest in our system, we realized there was an opportunity to help other agencies in our field nationwide, and began marketing Portfol™. Today, agencies like yours have streamlined their loan process with the only software program designed by an economic developer.
Portfol™ is a Windows®-based, fully-integrated, multi-user system that tracks activities from the initial call and deal structuring, through the lending approval process, and finally the servicing of the loan.
Portfol™ handles the complex issues associated with the lending of public money - job tracking and reporting, accounting for different funding sources, and also the need to quickly and accurately respond to requests for information from public officials or funders.
Portfol™ speaks your language: * Are you a CDC? A CDFI? An IDA? An IDC? * Do you administer CDBG funds? EDA? SBA? RBEG? IRP? USDA? ARC?
